We were actually initially brought the old wooden swing sign with a view to ‘perhaps’ refurbishing. Unfortunately it was deemed beyond salvage and the client opted for a new sign with a new design. We were able to provide a full visual of the proposed sign design and its construction with quoted price before commencement.
The building is I’m afraid no longer a pub but is now a solicitors, The sign however works as a landmark for them and therefore they were keen to keep the ‘pub sign name’ The finished sign photographed here is in fact manufactured from pvc and the image created by us applied as a digital print but given a matt laminated finish. Appearing to be a traditional timber sign it will last considerably longer. The client we must add is very happy with that!
